Live-edge Peachcot wood sugar packet bowl

The opening is 5" (12.7cm) across with the bottom inside of the bowl 2" (5.08cm).  The height of the bowl is 2 1/4" (5.71cm).

This wood was locally harvested by me.  It has been cross-grain turned to give it its beauty and uniqueness.  It was turned green (meaning it had/has not been dried), this allows the bowl to warp and become unround ensuring that there will never be another one just like it.

Once turned and sanded, it goes into an all-natural, food-safe mineral oil bath for an hour.  It is then allowed to dry, then gets another bath.  Finally it gets a coat of Just Another Woodcrafter Cutting Board Butter put on it.
