Peachcot Wood Coffee Scoop
A very unique coffee scoop made from Peachcot wood. Peachcot is not very common in the states, it is a hybrid between a Peach and an Apricot. This is an extra-long coffee scoop which makes it easy to get to the bottom of the coffee bag. Scoop size is 1 Tablespoon, which requires two scoops to fill reusable K cups for a Keurig.
Specifications
The metal scoop is made from chrome. The overall length is 7" (17.78cm), width 3/4" (1.90cm).
Construction
The very first thing I do is hand select each piece and then turn the handle to the final shape. The handle is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits of sandpaper, to create a very smooth surface. Multiple different types of glue and waxes are applied to protect the handle for years of hard use. Each handle goes through a 21 step process to achieve the lustrous polished to a mirror-like shine.
